Brief Biography

Joseph Anozie Chinagolu Ugonabo, biomedical research scientists was born in Olaukwu in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State, Nigeria. He attended Bishop Shanahan College Orhi and Christ the King College Onitsha for his secondary school education.  He holds a B.Sc and M.Sc degree in Medical and Public Health Microbiology from the University of Nigeria. He served the nation at the Lake Chad Research Institute, Maiduguri and the National Institute for Medical Research,  Yaba, Lagos  conducting research in Epidemiology and Public Health among the people of the Sahel and Chad Basin Areas of North Eastern Nigeria. Currently he is lecturing and conducting research in biomedical studies

Brief Biography

Dr. Ngozi Udengwu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts and a Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has a PhD in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She teaches courses and supervises projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in the Department of Theatre and Film Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has presented papers at over twenty conferences both nationally and internationally and has over fifteen publications, including a book, some scholarly journal articles as well as some  book chapters and has conducted workshops on literacy and reading for the UNICEF Field ‘A’ Projects. Her PhD thesis discovered seven active female playwrights in Nigeria, one of whom is believed to be the most prolific theatre director in Nigeria. Ngozi Udengwu is currently a Fellow of the American Council of Learned Society, which is about to document, for the first time, the contributions of women in the Yoruba Travelling Theatre of Nigeria. She is a member of several learned societies, including the Society of Nigerian Theatre Artists, International Federation for Theatre Research, African Theatre Association, African Theatre and Performance Working Group, International Reading Association, African Literature Association and Arterial Network and others.

Brief Biography

Professor George Orisakwe Sopuruchi Amadi studied for his Bachelor of Laws and Doctorate Degree in Law at the University of Nigeria. He obtained his Master of Laws Degree from Kings College, University of London in 1981. He was a research student at the London School of Economics between 1982 to 1983. He has authored many books among which are Police Powers in Nigeria and A legal Guide to Nigerian Trade Union. He has directed and supervised many LL.M dissertations and Doctorate theses. He was formerly Chairman, Association of Academic Staff Union of Universities, University of Nigeria Nsukka Branch (ASUU-UNN, 1994-1999).

Okechukwu, Ngozi Francisca holds a TC II (1995) and NCE (1999) and is also a B.Sc graduate of in Educational Administration and Supervision from Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 2005. She joined the University of Nigeria in 2008 as a Higher Executive Officer and has risen to the rank of Senior Executive officer as at October 2011.
